City Council

COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS The City Council of the City of Knoxville, Iowa convened in a Work Session on Thursday, March 4, at 5:30 p.m. Mayor Brian Hatch presided and the following Council members were present: Megan Suhr, John Gotta, Dylan Morse, Justin Plum and Jyl DeJong. The following staff members were present: Interim City Manager Heather Ussery, City Clerk Tricia Kincaid, Police Chief Aaron Fuller, Fire Chief Cal Wyman, Street and Cemetery Supervisor Kevin DeLong, Parks and Recreation Director Brandon Nemmers, Planning and Zoning Administrator Bill Mettee, Water Reclamation Supervisor Pat Murphy and Library Director Roslin Thompson. Council and Department heads had an action planning session with the Iowa State Extension and Outreach of Economic Development where future projects within the town were discussed and action committees were formed consisting of council and city staff.
