COUNCIL MINUTES January 30, 2023 The City Council of the City of Knoxville, Iowa, convened in special session Monday, January 30, 2023, at 6:15 p.m. at the Knoxville Municipal Building Council Chambers. Mayor Hatch presided and the following Council Members were present: Megan Suhr, John Gotta, Dylan Morse, Dawn Rankin, and Jyl DeJong. Staffs present were City Manager, Heather Ussery; and Parks and Recreation Director, Brandon Nemmers. Motion by Morse, seconded by Rankin to approve consent agenda; all ayes. 1. Set a Public Hearing for February 6, 2023, at 6:15 p.m. to award the contract for Veteran’s Park City Manager, Heather Ussery presented the Parks and Recreation Department Fiscal Year 2023/2024 Recommended Budgets to Council. Department leaders were in attendance and answered Council Member questions. No action was taken by Council.
