KOHLER PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD MEETING WEDNESDAY, August 7, 2024 Present: Erin Coppersmith, Librarian Megan Drevline, President Nicole Witwer John Multer, Secretary Eileen Hilke, Vice President Absent: Lisa Greene, Superintendent Michael Wandschneider Kya Diehl The meeting was called to order at 3:34 pm by Megan Public Comment: There was no public comment Minutes: The minutes of the June 2024 meeting were approved Invoices: Invoices for June and July were approved. Library/School: A deep cleaning of the library is expected next week. The air conditioning was not functional for 2 weeks. Now fixed. Job Descriptions There was discussion of the duties and hours expected for each salary range. Erin considers a mix of positions a future goal for hiring. Erin will put together a cost estimate for the ideal mix of positions. The job descriptions were approved minus the financial aspects. New Business: There was a large increase in participation for summer programs. Lit camp is coming soon. Erin is starting preparation of the 2025 budget. The library is on a wait list for art from the Kohler Foundation. Nicole suggested the Arts in Industry program and will follow up on this. The meeting was adjourned at 4:07.
