Village of Kohler Tourism Promotion and Development Committee Meeting January 29, 2025 Chairperson Tarra Mikolyzk called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. Roll call was taken: Tarra Mikolyzk and Brett Edgerle were present. Ruben Cambero Sedano and Pamela Butler Channel were present via telephone. Dirk Willis was absent. Staff members present: Mike Kitzerow and Cindi Gamb. Approve Meeting Minutes from October 30, 2024 – Motion by Brett Edgerle, second by Pamela Butler Channel to approve the meeting minutes from October 30, 2024. Motion carried. Business 1. Review 2024 Revenue and Expenses – reviewed the final numbers for 2024. 2. Request for funding the following projects: a) Kohler Athletic Bomber Boosters 2025 Kohler Classic 5K/1 Mile Run/Walk $5,525 – Michelle Pociask presented the request for $5,525 for marketing for the 2025 Kohler Classic 5K/1 Mile Run/Walk. b) Village of Kohler Department of Public Works Park Benches $6,494 – Mike Kitzerow presented the request for 10 green benches to be placed on paths in the village and used for Kohler Co. activities in Ravine Park, cost $6,494. c) The Shops at Woodlake Kohler 2024 Community Christmas Tree $5,000 - d) 2025 Destination Kohler Page in the Kohler Villager $5,400 - e) 2025 Granicus Subscription $3,969 – request is for annual renewal for compliance monitoring for short-term rentals in the village, cost $3,969. Motion by Brett Edgerle, second by Ruben Cambero Sedano to recommend the Village Board approve the requests as presented: 2025 Kohler Classic 5K/1Mile Run/Walk $5,525, park benches $6,494, 2024 Community Christmas Tree $5,000, Kohler Villager $5,400, 2025 Granicus Subscription $3,969. Motion carried.
