Public hearing to receive input regarding the grant award of a grant application to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Community Facilities Grant Program for La Feria Fire Department Personal Protective equipment purposes. 8. Consideration and possible action on Resolution 2020-10 accepting United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development Community Facilities Grant and fulfilling financial obligations on awarded Fire Department personal protective equipment grant. 9. Consideration and possible action to enter into a contract with Cameron County Elections Department for Special Election to be held November 3, 2020. 10. Consideration and possible action on request from Cameron County elections Department for use of city Hall City Commission Meeting room for Early voting from October 13, 2020 to October 30, 2020 and Election Day November 3, 2020. 11. Consideration and possible action to approve a proposed tax rate calculation for tax year 2020 (fiscal year 2020-2021) and set date for public hearing. 12. Closed Session: • Personnel Matter pursuant to Section 551.074 Tex. Gov’t Code to deliberate performance evaluation of City Manager. 13. Adjourn.
