Consideration and possible action on Resolution 2025-05 approving holidays for fiscal year 2025- 2026. (City Manager) 8. Consideration and possible action to approve proposed tax rate calculation for tax year 2025 (fiscal year 2025-2026) and set dates for public hearings on the City FY 2025-26 budget and tax rate. (Finance Director) 9. Discussion and possible action on an agreement with Cameron County Elections Department for election services related to the November 4, 2025, Special Charter Amendment Election. (City Manager) 10. Closed Session: - Attorney consultation pursuant to Sec. 551.071, Tex. Gov’t Code, to debrief the City on 2025 legislation affecting tax and budget adoption; the Texas Open Meetings Act; and the Texas Public Information Act. - Attorney consultation pursuant to Sec. 551.071, Tex. Gov’t Code, to brief the City on its rights and obligations in the proposed Development Agreement between the City of La Feria and U.R. Home Texas, LLC, and related proposed annexation. Reconvene in Open Session 11. Consideration and action regarding the proposed Development Agreement and annexation with U.R. Homes Texas, LLC. 12.
