Advance notification will ensure compatibility with City equipment and allow Subcommittee meeting presentations to progress smoothly and in a consistent and equitable manner. Please note that all presentations/digital materials are considered part of the maximum time limit provided to speakers. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Arapostathis called the meeting to order at 11:17 a.m. 1.1 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 2. PRESENTATION There were no presentations. 3. ADDITIONS AND/OR DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA There were no additions or deletions to the agenda. 4. PUBLIC COMMENTS – (TOTAL TIME – 15 MINUTES) There were no public comments. 5. CONFLICT DISCLOSURES There were no conflicts of interest disclosed. 6. CURRENT BUSINESS 6.1 APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FOR THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MACARTHUR PARK SUBCOMMITTEE HELD DECEMBER 7, 2021 1 Page 4 of 5 Moved by Vice Mayor Shu Seconded by Mayor Arapostathis Approve. Yes (2): Mayor Arapostathis, and Vice Mayor Shu Motion Approved (2 to 0) 6.2 DISCUSSION OF MACARTHUR PARK DRAFT MASTER PLAN AND PUBLIC INPUT Director Richardson presented an update on the status of the park master planning process and community feedback received on the draft plan and asked for guidance from the subcommittee. Subcommittee recommended to move forward with statistically valid public needs assessment and begin the process to update the 2012 Park (and Recreation) Master Plan. Both stressed the need to continue to plan for the future of the park redevelopment for the City's growth. 7.
