1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Stacy Soucy called the meeting to order at 6:33PM.
S. Soucy read aloud the instructions to access the meeting via ZOOM, how to participate using ZOOM, or
by telephone. A phone number and email were provided if the public had a problem connecting/participating.

The minutes of September 23, 2021 were accepted as presented.

6. PRESENTATIONS OF DEPTS
6.I. Water Department Submissions (PDF)
Ben Crawford outlined the Water Department submissions, he noted that they are broken down into
projects and purchases. Ben Crawford explained that they work with DPW to coordinate water line
replacement as roads are being paved or sewer line work is being done. Ben Crawford then answered
questions on the presentation and regarding water lines for large developments.
6.II. Fire Department Submissions (PDF)
Chief Kirk Beattie outlined the Fire Department requests. He updated the members on the status of the
renovations to the Weirs Station. Chief Beattie outlined the remaining items including SCBA apparatus
replacement; replacement of forestry truck and replacement of the Deputy Chiefs car; and battery-
operated tools. Chief Beattie then answered questions on the requests.
6.III. Parks And Rec Submissions (PDF)
Amy Lovisek, Parks and Recreation Director and Assistant Director Matt Mansur provided an overview
of proposed projects outlined in a PowerPoint presentation. They noted all but one of the proposed
projects are the same as last year. The projects included a warning track at Robbie Mills Park, door
replacements, new maintenance building design, tennis court renovation, riverwalk pavement
repair/replacement, 35' boom lift, and Gale Ave Beach redesign and construction.
