AIRPORT AUTHORITY APPOINTIVE AGENCY MEETING MAY 11, 2015 CITY HALL – CONFERENCE ROOM 200A 5:30 P.M. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Engler called the meeting to order at the above date and time. City Clerk Reynolds is the recording secretary for this meeting. IN ATTENDANCE: Councilor Ava Doyle, Councilor David Bownes, Councilor Brenda Baer, Councilor Robert Hamel, Councilor Armand Bolduc, Commissioner Richard Burchill, Selectman Chan Eddy and Marv Everson. Mayor Engler expressed that there are eight (8) members in attendance, with at least one from each of the three (3) bodies making up the Appointive Agency, therefore a quorum is established. INTERVIEWS & APPOINTMENTS: Robert Glendening was interviewed for the vacant Laconia position. Councilor Hamel moved to appoint Robert Glendening to the vacant Laconia position of the Laconia Airport Authority for a four (4) year term. Seconded by Councilor Bolduc. Vote was 8-0 and the motion passed. Interviews were conducted with Paul Goodwin, Russell Dumais, and J. Scott Davis. Selectman Eddy moved to place the names of J. Scott Dave, Russell Dumais and Paul Goodwin on a ballot for the vacant position for the Town of Gilford on the Laconia Airport Authority for a four (4) year term. Seconded by Councilor Bolduc. Vote was 8-0 and the motion passed. Mayor Engler declared that a ballot would be distributed and tallied to determine the candidate deemed as elected to the position. The ballots will be public information and contain the name of the individual casting the ballot; all ballots will be retained with the minutes of this meeting. Each member was requested to mark their ballot with one check mark indicating their choice. Mayor Engler tallied the ballots and declared the Russell Dumais to be appointed with four (4) votes. 1 ADJOURNMENT: Councilor Bolduc moved to adjourn at 7:02 p.m. Seconded by Selectman Eddy.
