Minutes were approved by the Appointments Subcommittee at their 7/6/2022 meeting. CITY OF LACONIA - APPOINTMENTS SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING MAY 5, 2022, 4:30 P.M. LACONIA CITY HALL - ROOM 200B 5/5/2022 - Minutes 1. CALL TO ORDER Chair Soucy called the meeting to order at 4:30 pm. 2. SALUTE TO THE FLAG Chair Soucy led the Salute to the Flag. 3. RECORDING SECRETARY Nancy Brown, Recording Secretary 4. ROLL CALL Roll call was taken with the following Committee members in attendance: Chair Robert Soucy, Councilor Bruce Cheney and Councilor Mark Haynes. Chair Soucy noted that all members were in attendance and a quorum was established. 5. STAFF IN ATTENDANCE 6. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS 6.A. Appointments Committee Meeting Minutes of March 31, 2022 Minutes of the meeting of March 31, 2022 were accepted with no changes. 7. Interviews of individuals interested in being reappointed or appointed to the City's Boards and Commissions Ruth O'Hara was interviewed to fill an alternate member position on the Conservation Commission. This is a vacant alternate member position created by a resignation. This term will expire at the end of August, 2024 at which time Ms. O'Hara can apply for reappointment. Tara Shore was interviewed to be reappointed as a regular member of the Historic District Commission to a three-year term expiring at the end of March, 2025. The consensus of the Appointments Committee was to recommend Ms. O'Hara and Ms. Shore for appointments to the Commissions and terms as stated above at the next regular City Council meeting on May 9, 2022. 8.
