Minutes were approved on December 27, 2022. CITY OF LACONIA - CITY COUNCIL SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING APPOINTMENTS COMMITTEE 5:30 P.M. - ROOM 200B 9/26/2022 - Minutes 1. CALL TO ORDER Chair Soucy called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm. 2. SALUTE TO THE FLAG Chair Soucy led the Salute to the Flag 3. RECORDING SECRETARY Nancy Brown, Recording Secretary 4. ROLL CALL Roll call was taken with the following Committee members in attendance: Chair Robert Soucy, Councilor Mark Haynes and Councilor Bruce Cheney (who arrived later in the meeting). Chair Soucy noted that a quorum was established. 5. STAFF IN ATTENDANCE 6. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS Minutes of the meeting of July 6, 2022 were accepted with no changes. 6.A. Appointments Committee Meeting Minutes of July 6, 2022 7. Interviews of individuals interested in being reappointed or appointed to the City's Boards and Commissions Lisa Morin was interviewed for reappointment as a regular member of the Conservation Commission to a term expiring at the end of August, 2025. Joan Mercer was interviewed for appointment as a regular member of the Laconia Putnam Fund to a term expiring at the end of March, 2027. Charlie St. Clair was interviewed for reappointment as a regular member of the Downtown TIF District Advisory Board to a term expiring at the end of August, 2025. Michael DellaVecchia was interviewed for reappointment as a regular member of both the Planning Board and the Zoning Board to terms expiring at the end of June, 2025 and the end of August, 2025, respectively. Greg Page was interviewed for appointment as a regular member of the Water Commission to a term expiring at the end of June, 2025. Philip Smith was interviewed for appointment as a regular member of the Water Commission to a term expiring at the end of June, 2025.  Greg Page was interviewed for appointment as a regular member of the Water Commission to a term expiring at the end of June, 2025. The Appointments Committee will bring forth recommendations for appointment or reappointment at the next City Council meeting on October 11, 2022. 8.
