Minutes were approved by the Appointments Subcommittee at their 11/8/2023 meeting. CITY OF LACONIA - APPOINTMENTS SUBCOMMITTEE AUGUST 16, 2023 CITY HALL, ROOM 200B - 4:00 PM 8/16/2023 - Minutes 1. CALL TO ORDER Chairman Soucy called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm. 2. SALUTE TO THE FLAG Chairman Soucy led the Salute to the Flag. 3. RECORDING SECRETARY Nancy Brown, Administrative Assistant to the City Manager. 4. ROLL CALL Roll call was taken with the following committee members in attendance: Chairman Robert Soucy, Councilor Mark Haynes and Councilor Bruce Cheney. Chairman Soucy noted that a quorum was established. 5. STAFF IN ATTENDANCE Nancy Brown, Administrative Assistant to the City Manager. 6. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS 6.A. Appointments Committee meeting minutes of February 28, 2023 Minutes of the February 23, 2023 meeting were accepted as distributed with no changes. 7. Interviews of individuals interested in being reappointed or appointed to the City's Boards and Commissions Interviews of candidates interested in being reappointed or appointed to the City's Boards and Commissions were held. The Appointments Subcommittee discussed the interviews and will make a formal recommendation to the City Council at their August 28, 2023 Council meeting. 8. Any other business that may come before the Committee There was no other business to come before the Committee. 9. ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 pm.
