Minutes were approved by the Appointments Subcommittee at their 2/11/2026 meeting. CITY OF LACONIA - CITY COUNCIL MEETING FEBRUARY 5, 2026 - 6:00 P.M. LACONIA CITY HALL, ROOM 200B 2/5/2026 - Minutes 1. CALL TO ORDER Councilor Soucy called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm. 2. SALUTE TO THE FLAG Councilor Soucy led the Salute to the Flag. 3. RECORDING SECRETARY Nancy Brown, Recording Secretary 4. ROLL CALL Councilor Robert Soucy, Councilor Mike Conant, and Councilor Jon Hildreth were in attendance. A quorum was established. 5. STAFF IN ATTENDANCE Nancy Brown, Recording Secretary and Administrative Assistant to the City Manager. 6. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS A motion was made by Councilor Soucy to approve the minutes of November 25, 2025. The motion was seconded by Councilor Conant. The motion was approved unanimously. 7. Interviews of individuals interested in being reappointed or appointed to the City's Boards and Commissions The Appointments Subcommittee interviewed the following applicants: Nicole Arsenault - requesting appointment as an alternate member of the Zoning Board of Adjustment Douglas Robinson - requesting appointment as a regular public member of the Building Code Board of Appeals Michael Little - requesting appointment as a regular member of the Planning Board Ryan Cardella - requesting reappointment as a member of the Weirs TIF District Advisory Board 8.
