CITY OF LACONIA CONSERVATION COMMISSION Wednesday, November 16th, 2016 - 6:00 PM, City Hall - Conference ROOM 200A I. Call to Order Chair, Dean Anson called the meeting to order at 6:07 p.m. Call to order: Deb Williams, Dick Christopher, Lisa Morin and Chair Dean Anson Members absent: Marnie Schultz, Mike Foote Staff present: Evan Rathburn (Conservation Technician/Planner), Brandee Loughlin (Planning Director/Assistant Planner) Others present: Lisetta Silvestri, Eileen Fararo Review of minutes: October 19th meeting minutes. October 19th minutes Deb moves to accept the minutes with corrections Lisa Seconds All in favor: All say “Aye” II. New Business: 1. Lake Winnisquam Watershed meeting a. Deb and Lisa went to the meeting. Deb gives an overview of what happened at the event. 2. New England Storm Water Forum on Nov. 15 through Nov. 16 in Durham a. Technician Evan gave an overview of what went on at the NESWF. 3. City Storm Water Regulations Draft a. No Discussion IV. Liaison & Sub-Committee Reports: i. Permit Sub-Committee review and updates – No update ii. Milfoil subcommittee update: a) Dean says that Amy Smagula has created maps and will be making bid awards for services after thanksgiving. Agricultural Subcommittee – Lisa went to Lakes Region Food Network Meeting 1. Commissioners Comments a. Lisa says that there is a winter construction workshop. b. Dick explains that DES will allow more radioactivity in water. c. Verizon has moved in a unit. d. City can’t have a conservation easement on land it owns. VII.
