1. CALL TO ORDER
D. Anson called the meeting to order at 4:00 PM.
2. ROLL CALL
The following members were present: Dean Anson, Deb Williams, Robert Harrington, and Lisa
Morin.
3. SALUTE TO THE FLAG
D. Anson led the Commission in the salute to the flag.

6. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS
R. Harrington moves for approval on the minutes. Lisa Morin seconds the motion. Minutes are
accepted on the condition changes are made.

7. NEW HAMPSHIRE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES APPLICATIONS
No applications.
8. OLD BUSINESS
8.I. Gale Ave
Rick Ball did a design for treating the area that will not be addressed as part of the 319 Grant.
R. Ball’s design went to Rob Mora and Wess Anderson. W. Anderson says DPW does not have the
money to implement the designs from R. Ball. There was discussion f grant funding for implementation
of the designs.
8.II. Lake Host For Messer Street Ramp
There are three new hires. Meg Aiman will work the weekends at the Messer St. ramp. There will be
two new hosts at the Water St. ramp.
8.III. WOW Trail Pollinator Garden
L. Morin is continuing to plant at the garden. There are issues with water availability at the garden. D.

Williams will follow up about signs for the trail.
8.IV. Tributaries Sampling For Opechee And Paugus Bay
D. Anson, D. Williams, R. Ball, G. Draper, and Laura Norton will collect water samples on
Tuesday, 7/7. D. Anson shares that samples will be collected once a month. June samples may need
to be re-collected due to malfunctioning equipment. G. Draper will follow up with Bree Rossiter to
confirm this.
9. NEW BUSINESS
9.I. Taylor Community
D. Anson would like to know where the storm drainage pipes go after the basin overflows. G.
Draper will find this answer. L. Morin suggests connecting with Luke Powell as a potential resource if
drainage maps cannot be found.
10. LIAISON, SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS, AND UPCOMING EVENTS

L. Morin suggests that Con Com begin doing outreach to City of Laconia departments and homeowners to
spread information about invasive species and how to treat them. D. Anson would like to know when the
City of Laconia’s Canal St. day is so that Con Com can set up a booth.
