1. CALL TO ORDER
D. Anson calls the meeting to order at 6:01.
2. ROLL CALL
L. Morin, R. Harrington, D. Williams, D. Anson, and M. Foote are present.

6. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS
L. Morin motions to accept. D. Williams seconds. D. Williams provides an example
of minutes she wrote previously. D. Anson would like information in the minutes to
be flushed out more. D. Williams would like the same as well as some clearer
formatting. L. Morin suggests that Con Com bring any additional information or
changes they would like to see made to the 12.4 minutes to the next meeting. L.
Morin revokes her amendment to approve the minutes. M. Foote seconds the
motion. L. Morn motions that Con Com will send edits they would like to see on the
12.4 to G. Draper and revisit the minutes next meeting. M. Foote seconds.
Unanimous.

11.I.Shauna Sanders
D. Anson would like Con Com to continue talking with Shauna Sanders at the Lakes
Region Planning Commission about arears around Laconia that they would like to see
stay undeveloped. S. Sanders identified tools that hey have to help with this goal such as
the Wildlife Actions Plan, the city’s Master Plan, and the 2020 NRI. L. Morin suggests
getting Joia Hughes involved in this conversation. The Wildlife Actions Plan will be
updated in 2025. Con Com would like to start thinking about updating the NRI.
11.II. Resort On The Bay
Rich Tilton and LWA submitted a grant application to DES to do work around Resort
On The Bay to try to reduce the amount of erosion and sediment runoff into Langley
Cove. The grant application was approved. FB Environmental had done an older
report for Langley Brook to reduce the sediment and runoff into Langley Cove. Con
Com would like to revisit this report.
11.III. Con Com Intern
Con Com would like to explore getting an intern from Antioch College or Plymouth
State University to help on a number of projects such as tributary samplings,
updating the NRI, walking the easements, etc.
11.IV. Milfoil Budget
D. Anson would like to find out how much money has been set aside for milfoil
mitigation for the coming summer. He anticipates only D.A.S.H. will be required this
coming summer since herbicide was used last summer. He would like the budget to
cover Lake Winnisquam, Lake Winnipesaukee, Paugus Bay, and Lake Opechee.
11.V. Old N. Main St. Crime Watch
L. Morin shared that there are postings of a crime watch down on Old. N. Main St. L.
Morin will do some research and try to find out who has posted the crime watch
sign on state property.
11.VI. Next Level Awards
D. Williams shares that DES is giving awards to cities across the state to install more
EV Charging stations
11.VII. DES Cybersecurity
DES is holding a cybersecurity workshop for water systems that is free to all water
departments on March 5th. There is a webinar on February 12th.
11.VIII. NH Lakes Webinar
There is a webinar on Jan 21st.
