Downtown TIF Advisory Board

5/22/2024 - Minutes 1. Call to Order Meeting was called to order at 9:17am. 2. Roll Call Warren Clement and Charlie St. Clair joined at 9:20am Gabriel Perry from the Daily Sun 3. Recording Secretary Savanna Brunelle, Admin Assistant 4. Staff in Attendance Planning Director, Rob Mora and Assistant Planner, Tyler Carmichael. 5. Acceptance of Minutes from Previous Meetings W. Clements motions to accept minutes from previous meeting. 5.1. Draft Minutes 6. New Business 6.1. Current TIF Agreement There was discussion about the current TIF agreement. 6.2. Active Board Members R. Mora mentions that Warren and Charlie are the only active board members. 6.3. Vacancies On the Board There are three vacant positions needing to be filled. Current members will seek out new members who shall own property, reside or own/manage/represent a business/organization within the Downtown District. 6.4. Suggested Schedule for Meeting R. Mora presented a suggested meeting schedule and all members agreed to those dates and time. 6.5. Current Downtown TIF Account Balance Staff reported a current account balance. There was discussion about the presented budget and bonds. W. Clement had questions about numbers and where they came from. Staff will follow up with finance about those numbers. 6.6. Income for the TIF over next 3 years Staff will present a new spread sheet at the next meeting showing the income for the next three years.  those numbers. 6.6. Commitments made by name There was discussion about commitments made. 6.8. Planning Department Suggestions There was discussion about suggestions for Downtown including Food Trucks, Irrigation System, Banner Poles, Bridge lighting, Wayfinding, and parking. 7. Old Business W. Clement asked to talk about Adopt-A-Spot at the next meeting. 8. Adjournment Meeting adjourned at 10:10am.
