Welcome and Introductions
The Chair reviewed procedures related to public access to electronic meetings as required under
Governor Sununu’s Emergency Order #12.
Roll Call attendance: David Stamps, Chair; David Osman, Margaret Donnelly, Janet Simmon, Carrie
Chandler, Rev. Judith Wright, Matt Soza
Discussion of the proposed Vigil
The committee discussed the proposal and agreed to a modified format:
"We invite you to a silent vigil on Friday, June 5, to stand with our brothers and sisters for racial and
social justice.
The gathering will be peaceful and welcoming.
Facial covering and social distancing are encouraged so all are comfortable.
Time Period: 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm please come and stay as you are able.
Program: There is no formal program or speaker
Location: Lawn of the Congregational Church of Laconia"
It was agreed that we wanted to emphasize that there would be no speakers, no formal sponsors.
It was also emphasized that it will be a silent vigil.
A Motion to support Vigil Passed by a unanimous roll call vote.
A Motion to adjourn was made by Janet and seconded David Osman at 4:50pm.
Other Business
It was generally agreed that we should hold a Zoom version of our next quarterly meeting on June 16th
at 3pm.

Due to technical difficulties, we are temporarily suspending live transmission of City meetings on
