Martin Luther King, Jr Celebration Committee Notes 172 Pleasant St, Laconia, NH March 28, 2025 at 4:45 pm Present : Faith Pakasuk, Matt Soza, and Rev. Judith Wright Unable to be Present : Richard Littlefield Discussion : 1. Need for more people for this Committee discussed. Faith will ask Marie Matusi, who is into a dance program if she is interested in meeting with us. 2. Music for the program: We brainstormed ideas. - Possibility of asking people who entertain at the Multicultural Festival. - Contacting John MacArthur - Kimayo - Faith suggested “spontaneous music” in which people start a song or music With the entire audience. 3. African American poems in between musical selections. 4. Children from dance studios? Frates? 5. Choirs from area churches coming together for a community sing.
