MOTION: To accept the minutes of the January 21, 2021 meeting of the Laconia Airport Authority as presented by the Recording Secretary. Introduce Karin Goulian , of Mike Goulian Aviation and give opportunity to present their business proposal. MOTION: To grant approval for Mike Goulian Aviation to establish a business for the purpose of training and mentoring pilots of Cirrus aircraft at Laconia Municipal Airport. AIP Projects Update : John Gorham of Jacobs Engineering presented an update regarding the airport ’s Airport Improvement Plan projects. B. Grant Application Approval – SBG-09-15-2020 MOTION: To authorize the Chair to sign the application to “Remove Obstructions – Phase I, Controlled Properties On and Off Airport, Aeronautical Study to Identify Hazards, Update Airport ’s EPA Multi- sector General Permit. Discussion regarding development of land on closed runway – whether LAA should subdivide prior to offering to potential developers.  MOTION: To engage Steven J. Smith Associates, Inc. for the purpose of sub-dividing the land adjacent to, and including, the closed runway prior to making the lots available to potential developers, with an initial spending cap of $5,000.00 for the performance of the sub-division. If the cost is greater than the cap, further approval would need to be given by the LAA.
