LACONIA PUTNAM FUND MEETING LACONIA HIGH SCHOOL NOVEMBER 9, 2018 5:30 PM Members Present: Jim Rogato, Richard Landry, Charles Bradley, Elizabeth Ballantyne (arrived late) Absent: Linda Peary Also Present: Putnam Fund agents Julie Grant and David Connolly The meeting was called to order at 5:30 pm by Chairman Jim Rogato Committee members present voted unanimously to approve the minutes of September 7, 2018 and October 26, 2018. Committee members discussed contractual issues with B.J. Thomas. Julie Grant will finalize the contract soon. A motion was made to unanimously approve Denny Lane of the Moody Blues and Wings with Julie Grant for April 12, 2019 at Laconia High School. Committee members expressed disappointment that the Laconia Middle School and Laconia High School have failed to cooperate in arranging an appearance of astronaut and orthopedic surgeon Dr. Buckey from Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. A Putnam Fund member will communicate with Dr. Buckey to apologize for the inexplicable action and see if he would like to speak at the Taylor Community. Committee members discussed miscellaneous other shows. A motion was made and unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting to attend the Blues Show.
