Laconia Putnam Fund Board of Trustees Meeting February 1, 2019 This meeting was called to order on February 1, 2019 at the Woodside Commons located at the Taylor Community at 12:00 pm with the following in attendance: Linda Peary, Richard Landry, Jim Rogato, Charles Bradley and Betty Ballantyne. Guest attendance: Tara Shore of the Belknap Mill PROGRAMS: David S Brody, Author February 20, 2019 is all set. Richard Wood & Gordon Belscher from Prince Edward Island a fiddler & guitarist on March 8, 2019 all set. No step dancers available. LHS Auditorium 7 pm. BJ Thomas-American Rock Group to perform on September 20, 2019 now at a conflict with LHS Football. Jim is reaching out to their organization in hopes of changing the date to the following day. Ted Vigil – John Denver Tribute on October 18, 2019 at LHS Auditorium. GUEST: Tara Shore, Director of Operations for the Belknap Mill came to present a proposal for this coming Summer Programs to be performed at Rotary Park on property of the Belknap Mill. “Arts in the Park”. They are spearheading 9 programs for the summer. After her departure we discussed wanting to participate and being lead supporter of the events. Linda Peary made a motion allot $S7,500 towards their summer shows. Rich Landry seconded it and all in favor conditioning lead sponsor. Tara also discussed Pumpkin Fest. She is offering tables to community organizations to participate in a Pumpkin Cook Off. It is good to be aware but not as contributors towards the event.
