Laconia Putnam Fund Board of Trustees Meeting March 1, 2019 This meeting was called to order on March 1, 2019 at the Woodside Commons located at the Taylor Community at 12:00 pm with the following in attendance: Linda Peary, Richard Landry, Jim Rogato, Charles Bradley and Betty Ballantyne. MISCELLANOUS: Linda Peary has been reappointed for another five-year term. Congratulations! Minutes: The minutes were reviewed. Rich Landry made a motion subject to correcting Charles Bradley’s attendance at February’s meeting. Seconded it was Jim Rogato with all in favor. PROGRAMS: Richard Wood & Gordon Belsher is on schedule for March 8, 2019, LHS Auditorium at 7:00 pm. Questions regarding lights & sound will be addressed by Betty Ballantyne prior next week’s performance. BJ Thomas has been rescheduled for Friday, September 13, 2019 at the LHS Auditorium. Ted Vigil, a John Denver Tribute is scheduled for October 18th at LHS Auditorium at 7:00 pm. Our Blues Show is scheduled for November 2019 with Coco Montoya and Duke Robillard. Denny Lane & Moody Wings is set for Friday, April 12, 2019 at the Laconia High School Auditorium. Denny Lane formerly performed with Moody Blues & Paul McCartney Wings. NEW BUSINESS: Golden Boys of Bandstand was brought up by Jim Rogato. This group consists of Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydel and Fabian. He will reach out to our Agent Julie Grant. Other contacts for this band are Jay Goldberg & Dick Fox Agency. We shall see. Folk Performance: Tom Rush, Livingston Taylor, Jonathan Edwards, Joan Biaz and Carol King. More research is necessary. A location for performances in Laconia was brought up at this meeting. Perhaps the former Lady of the Lakes Church. It is unknown of the capacity and availability.
