Lakes Business Park Commission Minutes – January 22, 2018 6:30 pm Chairman Ed Engler called the meeting to order at 6:30. Other Commissioners present were Tony Ferruolo, Leo Sanfacon, Greg Goddard, Henry Lipman & Frank Tilton. Gilford Town Administrator Scott Dunn and Laconia City Manager Scott Myers were in attendance. Steve Weeks from Weeks Commercial Real Estate was also present. L. Sanfacon moved to approve the minutes of December 11, 2017. Seconded by F. Tilton. Motion passed unanimously. Steve Weeks presented an offer from Arbortech for the purchase of Lot #14 in the amount of $110,000. The list price on the lot is $136,000. The offer contains some standard contingencies including soil testing, environmental, permitting and engineering. The closing date would be no later than July 13, 2018. A question was raised about the timeframe for constructing the building and it was stated that those terms are provided for in the LBP covenants. A motion to enter a non-public session under RSA 91-A:3 II, (d) Consideration of the acquisition, sale or lease of real or personal property was made by L. Sanfacon. Seconded by H. Lipman. On a roll call vote, the Commissioners voted 6-0 to enter a non-public session. F. Tilton moved to come out of the non-public session. Seconded by T. Ferruolo. The motion passed unanimously. G. Goddard moved to seal the minutes of the non-public until the next Lakes Business Park Commission meeting. Seconded by T. Ferruolo. Motion passed unanimously. Seeing no other business to come before the Commission and without objection, E. Engler declared the meeting adjourned at 6:50 pm. Minutes prepared by S. Myers.
