Licensing Board Meeting 8/5/2020 - Minutes 1. Call to Order Meeting was called to order at 12:05 PM by Chairman Rogato. 2. Roll Call Chairman Rogato, Chief Kirk Beattie, Captain Al Graton 3. Recording Secretary Hilary Young 4. Acceptance of minutes from previous meetings 4.A. July 1, 2020 Draft Minutes Minutes of July 1, 2020 were reviewed by the board and accepted as presented. 4.B. July 9, 2020 Draft Minutes Minutes of July 9, 2020 were reviewed, Chairman Rogato requested a change that he asked Dennis if he would be the point of contact. With the change being made to the minutes, the board accepted. 5. Licensing Review Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve items 5.A. to 5.C. Motion was made by Captain Graton and seconded by Chief Beattie. 5.A. IV- Potts Harbor Lobster 5.B. IV- Winni Wagon, LLC 5.C. OLS- The Dive 6. New Business Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve both applications for The Broken Spoke. Chief Beattie requested a discussion on the applications. The applications were discussed and special conditions of their entertainement license is for strictly inside their establishment and the outdoor loudspeaker is for background music and not for live entertainment. Motion was made by Chief Beattie with those conditions and seconded by Captain Graton. 6.A. ENT- Laconia Broken Spoke 6.B. OLS- Laconia Broken Spoke 7. Other Business Licensing Clerk, Hilary Young, stated that she processed refunds to the three Motorcycle Week vendor applications that had applied for this year. Chief Beattie asked if anyone has recieved complaints regarding Tower Hill or The Big House. Captain Graton stated that he will check to see if anything was logged. 8. Unfinished Business 9.
