Licensing Board Meeting 3/3/2021 - Minutes 1. Call to Order Meeting was called to order at 12:00 PM by Chairman Jim Rogato 2. Roll Call Chairman Jim Rogato, Chief Kirk Beattie (absent), Captain Michael Finogle 3. Recording Secretary Hilary Young 4. Acceptance of minutes from previous meetings 4.A. February 3, 2021 Draft Minutes Minutes of February 3, 2021 were reviewed by the board and accepted as presented. 5. Licensing Review 6. New Business Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve items 6.A - 6.D. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. Chairman Rogato asked if there was a discussion regarding these applications. Licensing Clerk stated she had two emails from both, Planning Director Dean Trefethen and Public Works Director Wes Anderson regarding Akwa Marina. They both stated that Akwa Marina is not in compliance with their Administrative Approval regarding an enclosure around the dumpster on their property. Chairman Rogato entertained a motion that a condition to be added to their approval stating they must comply with the administrative approval. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.A. ENT- 405 Pub & Grill 6.B. ENT- Akwa Marina Beach Bar II 6.C. ENT- The Margate/ Kylmeg 6.D. ENT- VFW Post 1670 Laconia 6.E. RAF- Belknap Special Operations Group Chairman Rogato made a motion to approve BSOG raffle license. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.F. OLS- Akwa Marina Beach Bar II Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve item 6.F. with the same conditions as their entertainment license. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.G. OLS- The Margate/ Kylmeg Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve item 6.G. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.H. Mr. C's Taxi LLC & Taxi Drivers Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve item 6.H. Motion was made by Captain Fingole and seconded by Chairman Rogato. Chairman Rogato asked if there was a discussion. Captain Finogle said they had no issues with the applications.  Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.H. Mr. C's Taxi LLC & Taxi Drivers Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve item 6.H. Motion was made by Captain Fingole and seconded by Chairman Rogato. Chairman Rogato asked if there was a discussion. Captain Finogle said they had no issues with the applications. 7. Other Business 8. Unfinished Business 9.
