Laconia Licensing Board 3/2/2022 - Minutes 1. Call to Order Meeting was called to order at 11:59 PM by Chairman Rogato. 2. Roll Call Chairman Jim Rogato and Chief Kirk Beattie 3. Recording Secretary Hilary Young 4. Acceptance of minutes from previous meetings 4.A. February 2, 2022 Draft Minutes Minutes of the February 2, 2022 meeting were reviewed by the board and accepted as presented. 5. Licensing Review 5.A. RAF- BSOG Relief Association Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve BSOG Relief Association's raffle license. Motion was made by Chief Beattie and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6. New Business 6.A. ENT- Kylmeg Hotel Management LLC Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve Kylmeg Hotel Management's entertainment license. Motion was made by Chief Beattie and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.B. ENT- The Big House Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve both The Big House and Tower Hill Tavern entertainment licenses. Motion was made by Chief Beattie and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.C. ENT- Tower Hill Tavern 6.D. Event- Laconia Biketemberfest Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to table Laconia Biketemberfest, Wake the Lake and Wicked Weirs to the April 6, 2022 meeting. Motion was made by Chief Beattie and seconded by Chairman Rogato. Chief Beattie did mention he will not be at the next meeting and will notify City Manager Scott Myers.  Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to table Laconia Biketemberfest, Wake the Lake and Wicked Weirs to the April 6, 2022 meeting. Motion was made by Chief Beattie and seconded by Chairman Rogato. Chief Beattie did mention he will not be at the next meeting and will notify City Manager Scott Myers. 6.E. Event- Wake the Lake 6.F. Event- Wicked Weirs 6.G. OLS- Kylmeg Hotel Management LLC Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve Kylmeg Hotel Management's outdoor loudspeaker license. Motion was made by Chief Beattie and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.H. OLS- The Big House Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve both The Big House and Tower Hill Tavern outdoor loudspeaker licenses. Motion was made by Chief Beattie and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.I. OLS- Tower Hill Tavern 6.J. Mr. C's Taxi LLC Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve Mr. C's Taxi license. Motion was made by Chief Beattie and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.K. Mr. C's Taxi LLC- 15 Drivers Licensing Clerk, Hilary Young, stated that the Police department reviewed all the applicants and did not have any concerns. Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve all 15 taxi drivers for Mr. C's Taxi. Motion was made by Chief Beattie and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 7. Other Business 8. Unfinished Business 9.
