Laconia Licensing Board 4/6/2022 - Minutes 1. Call to Order Meeting was called to order at 12:00 PM by Chairman Rogato. 2. Roll Call Chairman Jim Rogato and Captain Michael Finogle 3. Recording Secretary Hilary Young 4. Acceptance of minutes from previous meetings 4.A. Draft minutes from March 2, 2022 Minutes of the March 2, 2022 meeting were reviewed by the board and accepted as presented. 5. Licensing Review 5.A. Mr. C's Taxi LLC- 5 Drivers Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve all five drivers for Mr. C's Taxi. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6. New Business 6.A. ENT- Akwa Marina Beach Bar II Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve an entertainment license for Akwa Marina Beach Bar II. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.B. ENT- Naswa Resort Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve an entertainment license for Naswa Resort. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.C. ENT- The American Legion Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve an entertainment license for The America Legion. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.D. ENT- Weirs Beach Holdings Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve an entertainment license for Weirs Beach Holdings. OLS- Akwa Marina Beach Bar II Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve an outdoor loudspeaker for Akwa Marina Beach Bar II. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.F. OLS- Naswa Resort Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve an outdoor loudspeaker for Naswa Resort. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.G. OLS- Weirs Beach Holdings Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve an outdoor loudspeaker for Weirs Beach Holdings. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.H. EVENT- The Downtown Gym Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve an event for The Downtown Gym. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. Captain Finogle stated they have contacted the police department regarding closing the road off for a short period of time. 6.I. Event- Laconia Biketemberfest Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve Laconia Biketemberfest. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.J. Event- Wake the Lake Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve Wake the Lake. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. 6.K. Event- Wicked Weirs Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve Wicked Weirs. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chairman Rogato. Licensing secretary Hilary Young asked Anthony Santagate to verify the exact dates of his three events. Hilary stated the dates he provided are mid-week. Anthony stated the correct dates are as followed: Biketemberfest is September 16-18, 2022, Wake the Lake is May 20-22, 2022 and Wicked Weirs is October 28-30, 2022.
