Laconia Licensing Board 8/2/2023 - Minutes 1. Call to Order Meeting was called to order at 12:01 PM by Chairman Jim Rogato. 2. Roll Call Chairman Jim Rogato, Captain Michael Finogle, and Chief Tim Joubert 3. Recording Secretary Hilary Young 4. Acceptance of minutes from previous meetings 4.A. Draft Minutes from July 5, 2023 Minutes from the July 5, 2023 meeting were reviewed by the board and accepted as presented. 5. Licensing Review Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve the itinerant vendor and raffle license. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chief Joubert. 5.A. IV- Lone Star BBQ Co 5.B. RAF- Patriot Resilient Leader Institute 6. New Business 6.A. OLS- Shaffer Wedding Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve an outdoor loudspeaker for Brittany Shaffer. Motion was made by Chief Joubert and seconded by Captain Finogle. Chairman Rogato noted that they must follow the city's noise ordinance and Licensing Chapter 161- 4. 7. Other Business Licensing Clerk, Hilary Young, received a raffle application prior to the meeting. She requested the raffle license for Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation with a drawing date of October 31, 2023 to be approved at today's meeting. Chairman Rogato entertained a motion to approve the raffle license. Motion was made by Captain Finogle and seconded by Chief Joubert. 8. Unfinished Business 9.
