Mora called the meeting to order at 12:08 PM 2. ROLL CALL Members present: Amy Lovisek, Parks & Recreation; Nicholas Schwarz, Water Department; Lt. Christopher Noyes, Laconia Police Department; Hilary Young, Licensing; Krista Larsen, Department of Public Works 3. RECORDING SECRETARY K. Santoro, Zoning Technician 4. STAFF IN ATTENDANCE Rob Mora, Assistant Planner 5. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS 5.1. June 30 2021 Special Events Technical Review Committee Minutes (PDF) The Committee reviewed the minutes from the June 30, 2021 Special Events Technical Review Committee meetings and they were accepted as presented. 5.2. July 7 2021 Special Events Technical Review Committee Minutes (PDF) The Committee reviewed the minutes from the July 7, 2021 Special Events Technical Review Committee meetings and they were accepted as presented. 5.3. July 14 2021 Special Events Technical Review Committee Minutes (PDF) The Committee reviewed the minutes from the July 14, 2021 Special Events Technical Review Committee meetings and they were accepted as presented. 6. CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARINGS, CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE VOTE Note: The Purpose Of This Agenda Section Is For The Board To Continue The Public Hearing For The Applicant And The Public To Provide Input. The Board May Also Deliberate The Application, Decide And Conduct A Final Vote At This Time. 6.1. PL2021-0093 Weirstoberfest (PDF) It was noted by R. Mora that there is an outstanding bill due to the City of $1300. An application cannot be approved until this is paid.  Time. 6.1. PL2021-0093 Weirstoberfest (PDF) It was noted by R. Mora that there is an outstanding bill due to the City of $1300. An application cannot be approved until this is paid. Additionally, an updated map was provided to the Committee at the meeting. The departments have not had time to review it and the applicant was not present to answer any questions. K. Larsen made a motion to continue application PL2021-0093 Weirstoberfest to the September 1, 2021 Special Events meeting. A. Lovisek seconded the motion. All in favor. 6.2. PL2021-0094 Wicked Weirs (PDF) A. Lovisek made a motion to continue application PL2021-0094 Wicked Weirs to the September 1, 2021 meeting of the Special Events Committee. N. Schwarz seconded the motion. All in favor. 6.3. ZO2021-0032 Laconia Blues Festival - WITHDRAWN BY APPLICANT (PDF) 7. PUBLIC HEARINGS, POSSIBLE CONSIDERATION AND VOTE Note: The Purpose Of This Agenda Section Is For The Board To Have A Presentation From The Applicant And Open A Public Hearing For The Public To Provide Input. The Board May Also Deliberate The Application, Decide And Conduct A Final Vote At This Time. 7.1. PL2021-0110 Runaway Pumpkin (PDF) A. Lovisek outlined the application to the committee. She noted that it is usually done in conjunction with the Pumpkin Festival but due to its cancellation this year the run will go on as a separate event. It was noted that if needed, they will reach out to the police department for any assistance with road crossings. At 12:14 R. Mora opened the public hearing. At 12:14 PM with no one to speak for or against the application, R. Mora closed the public hearing. H. Young made a motion to approve application PL2021-0110 Runaway Pumpkin with all standard conditions. R. Mora seconded the motion. All in favor. 8. OTHER BUSINESS None. 9. ADJOURNMENT 8.
