Trustees of the Trust Fund

City of Laconia, NH Trustees of the Trust Funds August14, 2018 Meeting called to order at 2:00 PM. Present were Peggy Selig and Jon Nivus, Trustees; Donna Woodaman, Finance Director and Kevin Dunleavy, Parks and Rec. Director. Request from Leavitt Park House Assn. Leavitt Park House Association has requested an additional $7,018.61 to pay for air conditioning recently installed at the Leavitt Park House. This request has been approved by the Parks & Rec commission. The original request for partial funding for this project was made in 2015, but was put on hold because the cost was higher than anticipated. At that time $5,000 was set aside from the Leavitt Park Trust to pay for ½ of the air conditioning. Although Mr. Leavitt’s will states “to use all of said income for the improvement and maintenance of said park”, in the past funds have been used for major improvements to the park house. It was moved, seconded and passed 2-0 to approve the disbursement of $7,081.61 and to ratify the 2015 disbursement of $5,000 from the Leavitt Park Trust. Meeting was adjourned at 2:30 PM.
