BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY MINUTES April 1, 2014 Regular Session: The Board of Public Works and Safety met in regular session on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in the Common Council Chambers. Members present were: Gary Henriott, Cindy Murray, Ron Shriner, Dawn Ross and Norm Childress. Ed Chosnek, City Attorney, was also present. President Henriott called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the flag of our Country. MINUTES Mrs. Murray moved for approval of the minutes from the March 25, 2014 regular meeting. Mr. Shriner seconded. Passed. NEW BUSINESS Water Works Spring Flushing Announcement Kerry Smith, Water Works Superintendent, announced that the Spring Flushing will be from Sunday, April 6-April 18, 2014 from 10:00pm-6:00am. CLAIMS Paula King, Controller’s Office, presented for Board approval, Claims in the amount of $296,420.32. President Henriott asked if there were any further questions and there were none. Mr. Childress moved for approval. Mrs. Ross seconded. Passed.
