BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY MINUTES October 4, 2022 Regular Session: The Board of Public Works and Safety met in regular session on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. in the Common Council Chambers. Members present were: Gary Henriott, Cindy Murray, Ron Shriner, Amy Moulton and Norm Childress. Jacque Chosnek, City Attorney, was also present. President Henriott called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the flag of our Country. MINUTES Mrs. Moulton moved for approval of the minutes from the September 27, 2022 regular meeting. Mrs. Murray seconded. Passed. OLD BUSINESS Certificate of Completion-2021-1 Community Crossings Street Resurface (Tabled 9/27/22) Mr. Childress moved to remove this item from the Tabled. Mrs. Moulton seconded. Removed. Jeromy Grenard, Public Works Director, presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Certificate of Completion for the 2021-1 Community Crossings Street Resurface Project with Midwest Paving. The work has been completed, final inspections have been performed and all the punch list items have been addressed. The warranty date is July 26, 2023. Mr. Shriner moved for approval. Mrs. Murray seconded. Passed. NEW BUSINESS Engineering Certificate of Completion-2022-1 Ramp Replacement Project Mr. Grenard presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Certificate of Completion for the 2022-1 Ramp Replacement Project is Milestone Contractors. The work has been completed, final inspections have been performed and all the punch list items have been addressed. The warranty date is October 4, 2023. Mr. Childress moved for approval. Mr. Shriner seconded. Passed. Certificate of Completion-2022-2 Ramp Replacement Project Mr. Grenard presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Certificate of Completion for the 2022-2 Ramp Replacement Project with Dixon Construction. The work has been completed, final inspections have been performed and all the punch list items have been addressed. The warranty date is October 4, 2023. Mr. Shriner moved for approval. The work has been completed, final inspections have been performed and all the punch list items have been addressed. The warranty date is October 4, 2023. Mrs. Murray moved for approval. Mr. Shriner seconded. Passed. CLAIMS Jeremy Diehl, Controller, presented for Board approval, Claims in the amount of $2,923,633.17. President Henriott asked if there were any further questions and there were none. Mrs. Moulton moved for approval. Mr. Childress seconded. Passed. President Henriott asked for a status update for the Wea Ridge Water Tower Project. Steve Moore, Water Works Superintendent, stated that the underground concrete is poured for the foundation and the contractor has started forming for the above ground concrete.
