JOINT PURCHASING BOARD February 28, 2022 The Joint Purchasing Board met on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Board of Works Room, 20 North 6th Street, Lafayette City Hall. Present were: Mayor Roswarski, Robert Plantenga, Cindy Murray and Tom Murtaugh. Also present were: Dave Payne, City of Lafayette Purchasing Agent Mayor Roswarski called the meeting to order. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Mr. Murtaugh moved for approval of the minutes from the February 22, 2022 meeting. Mr. Plantenga seconded. Motion Carried. NEW BUSINESS Recommendation for Award- 2022 Asphalt and Bituminous-Coated Aggregate Dave Payne, Purchasing Manager, recommended approval of the Recommendation for Award of the Asphalt and Bituminous-Coated Aggregate to all bidders which include Asphalt Materials, Central Paving, Milestone Contractors, Rieth-Riley and Marathon Petroleum. It is in the best interest of both government agencies to seek the supplier with the lowest bid first and with consideration based on availability. Mr. Murtaugh moved for approval. Mr. Plantenga seconded. Motion Carried. PUBLIC COMMENT There was none. With no further business to come before the Board, Mr. Plantenga moved to adjourn. Mrs. Murray seconded. Motion carried.
