REVISED DRAFT Meeting Minutes Golf Course Advisory Committee April 28, 2026 Call to Order: 6:32 In Attendance: Michael McDonald, Jack Desjardins, Michael Zaydel, Michael De Sosa, Susie Mumford; Council Liaison, Jess Hall; Staff Liaison, Greg Saul Jason Grace & Gage Hunt were not in attendance. Public Comments: None Council Liaison: Type 2 effluent water is used for the golf course. Type 1 has less restrictions and would require an upgrade of the water treatment plant to be dispersed on the golf course. Staff Reports: YTD we are 14% up in rounds, 27% up in revenue. Had over 200 rounds on Saturday & Sunday. Rounds have gone from 17k -24k – 32k -36k. With new irrigation expect 40k+ and we will be in the black. Expect pipe delivery between 5/11-6/3. Hopefully start mid June with November completion. Project Muni with the Tx Golf Assoc has granted us 15k, which the city has to match. Fiscal 27-28 we project to be In the black. Approval of Minutes: Jack made a motion to approve the minutes from 3/24/2026, Mike De Sosa 2nd the motion. Motion carried. GCAC Work Plan: Gage met with the EDAC and will attend their meeting with Michael McDonald joining him. The interviews with new council members are complete. 2 of the 3 actual called to give additional information. Mike De Sosa gave us the report to look over and we will discuss at the next meeting. OPEN DISCUSSION: Michael McDonald is going to send us the agenda before posting for any additional discussions wanted.
