Recommended Action:
Approve the minutes, item 3 A above. (roll call vote)
4. DISCUSSION
A. ADA SELF-EVALUATION PLAN
Summary:
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 is a Federal Civil Rights
Legislation that mandates and prohibits discrimination against persons with
disabilities. The purpose of a Self-Evaluation Plan is to ensure that the Village of Lake
Barrington programs, services, and facilities used by the public are accessible.
Recommended Action:
This will be brought to the Board at the March meeting for adoption by Resolution.
B. FETHERLING PARK TRAIL CONNECTION - SCHOONER LN
Summary:
Barrington Harbor Estates is adjacent to Fetherling Park. There are about 144 homes
that could potentially access Fetherling Park from Schooner Lane, so I contacted the
adjacent homeowner to discuss.
Recommended Action:
Provide guidance to the Village Administrator regarding pursuing an access easement.
