City of Lake Forest Park CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION November 20, 2025 MINUTES Commission members present: Chair John Olson, Vice Chair Kim Anderson, Cmr. Silje Sodal Staff present: Secretary/Chief Examiner Shannon Moore Chair Olson called the meeting to order at approximately 8:05am. The meeting took place via Zoom. Approve Minutes A. October 29, 2025 Civil Service Commission Minutes: Cmr. Sodal made a motion to approve the October 29, 2025 meeting minutes. Vice Chair Anderson seconded the motion. Meeting minutes were unanimously approved. B. April 30, 2025 Civil Service Commission Minutes: Chair Olson made a motion to approve the April 20, 2025 meeting minutes. Vice Chair Anderson seconded the motion. Meeting minutes were unanimously approved. Reports and Communications None. Old Business A. Entry Level Civil Service List - Removal of Names: Chair Olson made a motion to remove the entry level name as presented by Chief Harden. Cmr. Sodal seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. New Business A. Certify Entry Level Police Office Eligibility List: Vice Chair Anderson made a motion to approve the Entry Level Police Officer eligibility list as presented. Chair Olson seconded the motion. Motion was unanimously approved. November 20, 2025 Minutes approved 12.12.25 Announcements/Schedule of Events Secretary Moore shared that the Department desires to conduct a round of entry level interviews in December. One more meeting will likely occur before the end of the calendar year. Adjournment A motion was made and seconded to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried unanimously and the meeting adjourned at approximately 8:15am.
