31 Discussion of community outreach work done by CAC, surveys, regional partnerships, community
32 presence, methodologies, book club, what was accomplished, and what could have been improved
33 upon.

35 Things that were left undone: implementation, hiring of a climate manager, and school outreach.

37 The future of CAC was discussed with possibilities of continuing without reach, suspending until a
38 climate manager is hired, or disbanding.

40 Motion to dissolve CAC
41 Motion seconded
42 Unanimous vote to dissolve CAC by members present approved at 6:25 pm.

45 Sarah Phillips will inform Mayor and the council at the next council meeting and request
46 disbandment per Resolution NO. 1836 Section 3. DISBANDMENT. The Climate Action
47 Committee may be disbanded

The Climate Action Committee is providing opportunities for public comment by attending in person to
provide oral public comment.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE WITH ORAL COMMENTS:
If you are attending in person, there is a sign-in sheet located near the entrance to the room. Fill out the
form and the presiding officer will call your name at the appropriate time. Oral comments are limited to
3:00 minutes per speaker. Oral comments are not being accepted via Zoom.

5. PUBLIC COMMENTS
The Committee is not accepting online public comments. This portion of the agenda is set
aside for the public to address the Committee on agenda items. However, the Committee may not
respond to comments from the public. If the comments are of a nature that the Committee does not
have influence over, then the Chair or presiding officer may request the speaker suspend their
comments. Comments are limited to a three (3) minute time limit.
