Executive Session A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A): 1) Discussion or consideration of employment, assignment, appointment, promotion, demotion, dismissal, salaries, disciplining, or resignation of a public officer, appointee, or employee (A.R.S. § 38-431(A)(1)). 1.1) Annual Evaluation of City Manager 1.2) Annual Evaluation of City Magistrate 1.3) Annual Evaluation of City Attorney The public body shall provide each appointee with written notice of the executive session as is appropriate, but not less than twenty-four hours for each appointee to determine whether the discussion or consideration should occur at a public meeting. Except for salary discussions, each appointee may demand the discussion or consideration to occur in public. 2) Discussion or consultation for legal advice with the City Attorney or Attorney for the City, if necessary (A.R.S. § 38-431(A)(3)). 2.1) Annual Evaluation of City Manager 2.2) Annual Evaluation of City Magistrate 2.3) Annual Evaluation of City Attorney Any records or documents distributed to the City Council or any conversations occurring during executive session shall be kept confidential.
