Motion made to approve the Consent Agenda by Board Member Leduc, Seconded by Commissioner Taylor. Voting Yea: Commissioner Michaud, Board Member Harris Clark, Board Member Motschenbacher. 1. November 15, 2022 Centennial Celebration Committee Meeting Minutes. NEW BUSINESS: 2. Centennial Battle of the Badges Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Deputy Adam Pozsonyi explained the plan for the annual Battle of the Badges. He explained that he would speak with a representative with Palm Beach Fire Rescue to organize, share the expense, and work out the logistics for a successful event. Deputy Pozsonyi would come back at a future meeting to discuss further logistics about the event as the date gets closer. The Committee thanked Deputy Pozsonyi for attending the meeting. 3. Cancelling the December 20, 2022 Centennial Celebration Committee Meeting Special Events Director Franks explained the request to cancel the December 20th meeting. The Committee discuss the request and asked questions pertaining to outstanding issues. Special Events Director Franks explained that the Sponsorship packets would be ready for final review at the January 3, 2023 meeting. The Committee asked if there would be a token of appreciation for the performers at events. Special Events Director Franks stated that we could provide a token of appreciation. PUBLIC COMMENT: This time is provided for addressing items that do not appear on the Agenda. Please complete a comment card and provide it to the Town Clerk so speakers may be announced. Please remember comments are limited to a TOTAL of three minutes. Dianne Sophinos requested that historic property owners be notified of the Historic Home Tour in advance, so that they have an opportunity to prepare their lawns before the March event. COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS: Beth Motschenbacher - stated that she would not be attending the January 3, 2023 meeting. Patricia Leduc - showed a Facebook post of the 1994 Community Info Guide. Commissioner Roger Michaud - wished everyone Happy Holidays. He was looking forward to all the Centennial events. He stated that the Lake Park Elementary School Caroling would begin at 410 3rd Street at 5:45 P.M. Vice-Chair Harris Clark wished everyone Happy Holidays. Special Events Director Franks agreed the the Holiday Tree Lighting Event and Lake Park Elementary School events were great. She announced the Santa Fire Truck Ride taking place at 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 10th. ADJOURNMENT: Motion made to adjourn by Board Member Motschenbacher, Seconded by Board Member Leduc.
