APPROVED VILLAGE OF LAKE ZURICH PARK AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD SPECIAL MEETING – July 14, 2009 Park Tour The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. (Prior to the meeting, Michael Karija was sworn in as new member by Village Clerk, Wende Dau.) ROLL CALL: Present – Chair Judi Thode, Vice-Chair Kathy Kozlowski Board Members, Jan Papa, Michael Karija Excused – Kevin Koch, Al Froehde and Teri Pytel Staff present - Park and Recreation Director Perkins and Trustee Branding APPROVAL OF MINUTES: MOTION made by Kathy Kozlowski, seconded by Jan Papa, to approve the minutes of the June 23, 2009 Park Advisory Board as submitted. Voice vote, AYES have it. MOTION CARRIED. PARK TOUR: Kathy Kozlowski left prior to departure for tour. Director Perkins gave tour of parks to show sites with current projects underway or completed or sites for future improvements. Sites visited were – Kuechman Park, Manor Park, Whispering Creek Trail, Old Mill Grove Park, Buffalo Creek Park, Countryside East Park, Bristol Trails Park, Sparrow Ridge Park, Countryside West Park, Staples Park, Oak Ridge Marsh Nature Park, Paulus Park and Quail Run Park.
