O. Tree Commission Agendas/

VILLAGE OF LAKE ZURICH Tree Commission Minutes August 19, 2008 Approved A. Roll Call: Present Shawn Walkington Chairperson, Commissioner Scott Garrison, Commissioner Harper and Commissioner Froehde. B. Approval of Minutes: Commissioner Froehde moved to approve minutes from Commissioner Harper seconded the motion. All were in favor C. Town Hall Review: The Tree Commission denies the request for credits for bushes. Under B. the Tree Commission would like to see 114 trees planted over the next 4 years to meet the requirements for exchange rate. Under C. a formal landscape plan showing placement of the 114 trees to be planted. Also add E. an intergovernmental agreement between Ela township and Village of Lake Zurich stating that these issues will be met. D. Forestry goals and objectives: Commission discussed long term goals. A final revision will be put together for approval at next months meeting. New business- Commissioner Froehde inquired about the trees planted along Route 22 and stated some trees have died. Commissioner Harper noted that there are three dead trees in Sparrow Ridge Park.
