O. Tree Commission Agendas/

Approved VILLAGE OF LAKE ZURICH Tree Commission Minutes September 15, 2009 A. Roll Call: Present Chairperson Garrison, Commissioner Walkington, Commissioner Kozub and Commissioner Froehde. Absent Commissioner Harper. B. Approval of Minutes: Minutes from the August Meeting were approved. C. Master Plan- The Mission statement was submitted by Commissioner Froehde which was read aloud and then discussed by all members of the Tree Commission. Changes will be made to the Mission Statement and reviewed at the next meeting. The Commission then reviewed the Short, Medium and Long Term Goals. Commissioner Froehde will assemble the goals and Mission Statement to be reviewed at the next meeting. D. New Business- Commissioner Garrison spoke about a meeting he attended with Mayor Branding. They discussed the idea of Commissioner Garrison becoming the President of the Tree Commission. Other items discussed were the Web Page, Joint Committee Meetings, Plan Reviews and elected officials attending Tree Commission Meetings. Commissioner Garrison also discussed a meeting he attended with members of the Village’s Homeowners Associations. He spoke to them about the Tree Commission and the Village’s Urban Forest. E.
