If you require special assistance, please contact Jo Ann Touchstone, City Secretary, at 512-314-7506 at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting. _________________________________ Jo Ann Touchstone, City Secretary Page 2 of 4  Resolution No. 2023-06-26-01 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LAKEWAY, TEXAS APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT WHEREAS, Section 211.008 of the Texas Local Government Code provides for appointment of a Board of Adjustment; and WHEREAS, the City Charter of the City of Lakeway, Article VII, Section 7.04 creates the Board of Adjustment; and WHEREAS, Section 30.07.062 of the Lakeway Code of Ordinance provides that the board shall be composed of seven (7) members and two (2) alternates; and WHEREAS, Section 30.07.062 of the Lakeway Code of Ordinance provides that the board is composed of one member appointed by the mayor, and one member appointed by each city councilmember; and WHERAS, Section 30.07.062 of the Lakeway Code of Ordinance provides that the alternates shall be appointed by the mayor and the mayor pro tem; and WHEREAS, Section 211.008 of the Texas Local Government Code requires that each member serve for a term of two years; and WHEREAS, there are vacancies on the Board of Adjustment. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWAY, TEXAS: That the below named persons are hereby appointed as members of the Board of Adjustment for a term of two years, and shall continue until a successor is appointed, unless otherwise determined by the City Council: Sean Rosholm, appointed by Councilmember Kelly Brynteson Hal Lanham, Alternate, appointed by Mayor Thomas Kilgore and Mayor Pro Tem Louis Mastrangelo All provisions of any Resolution of the City of Lakeway in conflict with the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. All provisions of any Resolution of the City of Lakeway not in conflict with this Resolution shall remain in full force and effect.
