Borough of Lansdale Public Safety Committee Minutes March 3, 2024 6:30 pm 1 Vine Street Suite 201 Lansdale, PA 19446 Attendees: See attached. The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm I. Old Business: A. A motion was made to approve the minutes for the February 7, 2024, PSC meeting. II. New Business A. A motion was Made to approve the following Special Events. a. Race to End Hunger April 13, 2024 b. First Fridays, 5/3/2024 through 11/1/2024 c. Lansdale Day, 6/1/2024 d. Lansdale Beer Tasting Festival, 6/22/2024. e. Founders Day, 8/24/2024 f. Cruise Night, 9/14/2024 g. Zero. 5k, 10/6/2024 h. Lansdale holiday parade, 11/23/2024 Public Comment on Action Items- None III. Fairmount FD Report: See attached. IV. Open Public Comment. Mayor Herbert- Related that he was working with other officials to bring a property tax relief program together for volunteer fire fighters in Lansdale Borough.  Alex Sickler- inquired about extending the sidewalk in the 100 block of North Broad Street. He was advised the area he was referring to in in Hatfield Township. Alex also requested the borough look into leading pedestrian indicators at our high-volume crosswalks. Lee Miletich- Asked why there is a do not enter sign on Ninth Street at the Train station.
