Board of Ethics Meeting March 24, 2026, 6 p.m. Lansing Town Hall Board Room Present: Jamie Ferris, Cynthia Lion, Gregg Travis, Diane Withiam, attorney Guy Krogh 6:02 p.m., J. Ferris calls meeting to order C. Lion moves to approve minutes of February 17,2026, G.Travis seconds, motion approved. G.Travis moves to appoint D. Withiam to replace retired member J. Dann as secretary, C. Lion seconds, motion approved. D. Withiam moves to go into Executive Session to discuss ethics-related issues brought before the BOE, C. Lion seconds, motion approved. 6:04 p.m., BOE moves into Executive Session 7:55 p.m., J. Ferris moves the BOE end Executive Session, C. Lion seconds, motion approved. 7:57 p.m., reschedule meeting of 3/26 to 4/2, 6 p.m. 7:59 p.m., discussion of providing training on the Town’s Code of Ethics to town employees and officers. Town Board asked Attorney Krogh to provide information for employees and officials about how to bring an issue before the BOE. Officers and employees may seek legal advice on ethical issues from the Town Attorney or other authorized legal source before bringing a query or complaint to the BOE. 8:05 p.m., J. Ferris notes that the Town has received 4 applications to fill the vacant BOE seat. J. Ferris will join the interview committee for the seat.
