Requests from person with disabilities must be made to the Community Development Department 24 hours in advance of the meeting. 1. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL Meeting convened at 6:24 PM Members present: Jean Allais, Becce Ford (Vice-Chair), David Milam (Chair), and Beth Young- Jones Members absent: Aaron Taff There was a quorum present at all times. Staff Present: Erica Larsen and Kathleen Wickersham City Council Liaison: Vicki Henry (present) 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA AND MINUTES 2-A. Change and Approval of Agenda MOTION BY YOUNG-JONES, second by Ford, to approve the agenda as presented. Aye: 4 Nay: 0 Motion carried. 2-B. MINUTES: Approval of the Minutes from the May 19, 2016 meeting MOTION BY ALLAIS, second by Ford, to approve the Minutes from the May 19, 2016 meeting as written. Aye: 4 Nay: 0 Motion carried. 3. CITIZEN COMMENTS – Non-Agenda Related Topics – No Action Can Be Taken No citizen comments. 4. BOARD OF HEALTH AND STAFF: REPORTS AND COMMENTS 4-A. Environmental Health Specialist Position The Board and Council Liaison were interested in talking about a budget amendment for the position during the October Board meeting that might go before Council shortly thereafter. 5. Body Artist and Body Art Establishments MOTION BY ALLAIS, second by Young-Jones, to remove the words “Community Development Department” from the definition of Department. Aye: 4 Nay: 0 Motion carried. MOTION BY FORD, second by Young-Jones, to approve and adopt the Rules and Regulations for the Body Artist and Body Art Establishments as amended. Aye: 4 Nay: 0 Motion carried. ii. Chapter III. Substantive Rules for Swimming Pools, Spas and Similar Installations MOTION BY MILAM, second by Allais, to approve and adopt the most current Wyoming State Statue on Wyoming Regulations for Swimming Pools, Spas and Similar Installation. Aye: 4 Nay: 0 Motion carried. iii. Chapter II. Substantive Rules for Food Service Copies of the current Rules for Food Services are to be emailed to the Board for review and will be discussed at the next meeting. 6-B. Bagelmaker’s Inspection The Environmental Health Specialist provided an update on the Bagelmaker’s follow-up inspection. NEW BUSINESS 6-C. Review of Inspections i. May 13, 2016 – June 9, 2016 The Board reviewed and discussed the establishments on the monthly inspection report. Larsen answered questions and provided additional information on various establishments. The Board requested an update on the following establishments at the July agenda: Best Western Pool Grand Ave. Pizza 7. DATE OF NEXT REGULAR MEETING – JULY 21, 2016 8.
