MINUTES CITY OF LARAMIE, WYOMING WORK SESSION JULY 26, 2022 Time Work Session began 6:03 p.m. Present: Sharon Cumbie, Pat Gabriel, Brian Harrington, Erin O'Doherty, Fred Schmechel, Bryan Shuster (arrived at 6:08 pm), Andi Summerville, Jayne Pearce, and Paul Weaver (arrived at 7:02 pm). Absent: None. Staff present: Janine Jordan, City Manager; Todd Feezer, Assistant City Manager; and Nancy Bartholomew, City Clerk. 1. WORKSESSION 2. Public Comment None. 3. WORK SESSION: Rental Housing Registration Update [Jordan, CM; Feezer, ACM; Bartholomew, CC] City Manager Janine Jordan introduced the item and City Manager Intern Owen Schildt. Councilor Shuster joined at 6:08 pm. CMO Intern gave presentation. 3.C. Public Comment: None. 4. WORK SESSION: Public Relations Update City Manager Janine Jordan introduced item and gave presentation. Schmechel- send postcard to the public with newsletter links or QR code. Cumbie- agreed with postcard with QR code. Mayor Weaver joined at 7:02 pm. 4.C. Public Comment: None. 5. City Council Updates/Council Comments O'Doherty- Traffic Safety Commission present UW Traffic Study. Schmechel- Laramie Rifle Range. Harrington- Laramie Public Art Coalition. Jordan- Fire Training Facility is ready. Cumbie- Albany County Mental Health Board September 6th, Crisis Response in August, COVID Strategic Response Team. 6. Agenda Review No changes.
