Laramie Advisory Commission on Disabilities Zoom 5:00-6:00 pm June 3rd, 2021 Meeting Minutes Members Present: Marla Puett- Sandberg, Katie Harmon, Michaela Rank, JoCarol Ropp Absent Members: Emmalee Moore, Sam Burkett, Mel Cody, Michelle Blakely, Jerrica Becken Council Liaison: Sharon Cumbie Staff Liaison: Jasmine Parten Katie called meeting to order at 5:04 pm. I. ROLE CALL II. Didn’t have a quorum, minutes tabled until next meeting. III. OLD BUSINESS A. Sharon got in touch with Assistant City Manager, Todd Feezer. He will have the obstacle course dropped off at the basketball court at 11:00 am. The event starts at 12:00 pm. Sharon will be at the basketball courts at 10:00 am. Michaela is also available to help. Sharon has recruited one volunteer and is hoping to recruit another. B. Katie will update the resource page and send them to Jasmine. Michaela will bring the LACD banner and any left-over pamphlets. Sharon will contact the Eppson Center to see if we can borrow some wheelchairs. C. At the last meeting, Jerrica and Sam said they were interested in helping with the event as well. Marla said she will be able to help after late morning. The event goes until 5:00 pm, so Michaela suggested doing shifts. D. Sharon will bring a table and chair. IV. Next meeting will be a special meeting on July 1st, 2021. V. ADJOURNMENT at 5:29 pm.
