COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG December 14, 2017 The Board of Mayor and Council met in regular session. The following members were present: Council Member Fox, Council Member Moore, Council Member Williams, Mayor Durham, and Council Member Sevier. With a quorum present the meeting was called to order. The meeting opened with Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion to approve the minutes of the November 22, Regular Meeting was made by Council Member Williams, with a second by Council Member Fox. Motion passed unanimously. Motion to approve December 4, 2017 Special Called Meeting was made by Council Member Sevier, with a second by Council Member Moore. Motion passed unanimously Mayor Durham presented a Certificate of Honor to Herbert McHenry. Parks and Recreation Director, Pam Kemp, gave a report on the 28 th Spirit of Santa Program. We only had one breakfast this year and at this time we have raised $18,000.00 and serving 800 Children. LUS Financials for October 2017 were accepted. ORDINANCE NO. 1219 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.1207 ENTITLED BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS OF REVENUE AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE 2017-2018 FISCAL YEAR FOR THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE GENERAL FUND. (Fire Department Supplement) Second and Final Reading Motion to approve on second and final reading was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Williams. Motion passed unanimously. ORDINANCE NO. 1220 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 789 AND ORDINANCE 810 ENTITLED, “ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG”, TENNESSEE; CONCERNING CHANGES TO THE CREATION OF THE HISTORICAL ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE. First Reading Motion to approve on first reading was made by Council Member Fox, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed unanimously. ORDINANCE NO. 1221 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.1207 ENTITLED BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS OF REVENUE AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE 2017-2018 FISCAL YEAR FOR THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE FIRE DEPARTMENT. First Reading Motion to approve on first reading was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Williams. Motion passed unanimously. With no further business to come before the board motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Moore with a second by Council Member Sevier. Meeting adjourned. Meeting adjourned.
